Our Beginnings... Jornada highlights - 1967 - 1992
In 1980, Jornadista Cruz Sanchez (St. Edwards) and I started going to different Parishes within the Jornada Movement to do a presentation on the "History of the Jornada." In preparing for this "mobile presentation" we gathered information from the founders and leaders of the movement. We compiled our Jornada history information and began our presentations. In 1992, as we prepared for Jornada 200 I added more historical moments and information to my notes.

The following pages reflect notes on some of the history of the Jornada Movement. This is only half of the history, from 1967 to 1992. Enjoy Victor Vélez
